Youth
is valued highly at First Lutheran Church.
While we believe that the most important faith
formation takes place in the home, we want
to provide Christian learning for young people
of all ages, and adults too! Sunday Morning
Education Ministry (Sunday School) will resume
this fall on Sunday, September 19. We will
gather at a new time – 10:30 a.m. Families
are encouraged to worship together and stay
for the education hour! Opportunities for
growing in faith will be offered for all ages.
Confirmation sessions begin soon for youth
in second grade and up.
More
information can be found here.
Families are asked to fill out an Education
and Youth Ministry Registration form each
year. You may
download
the registration form here. Please
return to the church office. For more information,
please call the church office at (320) 632-6667
or

T.R.E.K.
(Teaching, Reaching, Educating, Kids) is the
name of the Sunday morning rotational-style
ministry for children in Kindergarten through
Fifth Grade. Guided by a shepherd, children
learn the Bible by experiencing five different
stations – one station each Sunday.
The stations include Storytelling, Arts and
Crafts, Science/Video, Food/Cooking, and Music
and Games. We’ll experience seven biblical
units or themes during the months of September
through May.
Volunteer sign-up is underway for T.R.E.K.
and for all ages. Information on the stations
and the dates for each unit is available at
the church. You may volunteer as an individual
or team up with a friend, the commitment of
your time can be as you want it to be. What
a great way to share your Christian faith
journey and get to know terrific kids at the
same time!
