Dear members and friends of First Lutheran,
With continued concern for the global threat of coronavirus/Covid-19, the advice of Governor Walz and Bishop Tom Aitken and for the well-being of all in the community and beyond, we continue to suspend all worship and activities here at First Lutheran Church until further notice and until public health authorities declare it to be safe to begin gathering again as a community of faith.
We urge you to continue the common-sense practices of hand-washing, sanitizing, staying home when ill, and limiting your exposure in the community and elsewhere.
Thank you to all who have expressed concern for others in the community, we will do our best to assist those who are home-bound in whatever way possible.
We are working to provide several ways to for you to remain connected to and to help support your life of faith. Some of these ways are here on our webpage, on the church Facebook page and also broadcast on public access television via Charter/Spectrum channel 180. First Lutheran’s broadcast times are Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and Mondays at 1:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
We will continue to maintain our facility and ask your kind consideration of your giving throughout this time when so many things are unknown.
Should you have questions, please ask, and continue to pray that God will give us courage to face these days with compassion, concern, and acts of service.
Thank you and may God give you peace during this time!
