The Mission Committee would like to thank everyone for their generous donations to the Personal Care Kit project. On Wednesday evening, April 15, the 7th and 8th grade confirmation students and members of Soul Squad assembled 100 kits. The kits will be taken to the Lutheran World Relief warehouse in St. Paul. The kits will then be delivered to all areas of the world where there is a great need for basic comfort. Prior to the packing, FLC President Susan Gustner talked to the students about the important work that Lutheran World Relief does to alleviate suffering in the world. The students learned a valuable lesson about "loving our neighbor".
Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 Mother's Day Recognition
We will be honoring the "mothers" in our lives at the upcoming service on May 3rd, 2026 at 10:30am. Whether your child wants to recognize their mother, grandmother, or other special figure in their life, we have options to recognize everyone. Your children are making special crafts in the next few Sunday School classes and will present them to their loved ones at that time, so please have them attend our upcoming classes if able.
Sunday, May 17th 2026 Senior Recognition Sunday
Sunday, May 17 at the 10:30 a.m. worship service and with a brunch following the service at 11:45 a.m. We will recognize our graduating High School students and offer them a blessing and a quilt to take with them into their futures. High School Seniors should have received their invitation. High School Junior Families should have received an invitation to serve the brunch, if you did not receive your letter in the mail or any other questions, please contact the church office
