Our Curriculum and Teaching Supports... Children First Christian Preschool provides a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, through individual and group experiences, which encourages each child to discover who they are and develop a positive self-image. We recognize that children learn by discovery through active engagement. We believe play has intent and purpose. |
Special Features...
We enhance the spiritual growth of our children through a special time set aside each day to gather within the classroom or church sanctuary and celebrate God’s Love. We listen to Bible stories, sing songs, do finger plays, share and pray. This special time is led by our preschool or church staff.
We take monthly field trips to local care centers. The children have an opportunity to socialize with the residents. We work on projects, sing songs and read stories hand-in-hand. The appreciation and love shared by the residents and children is indescribable.
